About the Rukeri Tea Estate
The Rukeri tea estate produces around 3,000 tonnes of tea annually and co-operates with small hold farmers in the surrounding districts. This provides the local farmers with a sustainable source of income and therefore, the Rukeri estate was awarded Fair Trade certification.
