Rooibos, or as it sometimes called red bush, gives a golden-red coloured infusion with a delicate, sweet, slightly nutty flavour and a sweetish aroma.
It is grown on South African plantations and has been a popular beverage there for generations. The infusion made from this unusual plant is naturally caffeine free and became very popular mainly for its health benefits. Rooibos contains antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. Can be drunk on its own or with a dash of milk.
