Organic Korean Woojeon
About this Product
Organic Korean Woojeon
The highest grade of Korean green tea produced on the volcanic island Jeju. “Woojeon” means “before the rain”, because the tea harvest takes place from mid to end of April, before the spring rain sets in. The tea bushes are shaded before harvest and then processed in the same way as Japanese Gyokuro. The infusion is aromatic, with a flavour reminiscent of freshly cut grass with notes of hazelnuts.
