Japanese Genmaicha

Japanese Genmaicha  “Rice Tea” 

A blend of green tea and roasted rice. It is made from high quality leaves produced by a number of smallholder farmers in Shizuoka district and Satsuma region.
The infusion is clear-yellow with a refreshing savoury flavour of toasted rice.

Preparation: Use freshly boiled filtered water 80°C.
Allow 1 slightly heaped teaspoon of tea for 200-300ml cup.
