A high grown tea produced in the Himalayan mountains, sometimes referred to as ‘the roof of the world’. This tea has similar qualities to neighbouring Darjeeling teas, but it gives a stronger infusion. This is due to the humid climate experienced in this growing region. It leads to teas rich in antioxidants and full of flavour.

Tea Grade: FTGFOP – Finest Tippy Golden Flowering Orange Pekoe.
The Himalayan Kingdom is still a relatively recent tea producer. The majority of teas from there are manufactured in the orthodox method, complying with modern ecological standards.
Preparation: Use filtered and freshly boiled water 90-95°C
Allow 1 heaped teaspoon of tea per 200ml cup +1 for the pot. Infuse for 3min.
