Earl Grey Imperial Ingredients: Ceylon black tea, superb quality Italian bergamot and dried jasmine flowers.
May contain traces of nuts. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Origin: Sri Lanka
Preparation: Use filtered and freshly boiled water 100°C
Allow 1 heaped teaspoon of tea per 200ml cup +1 for the pot. Infuse for 3-5 min.
Earl Grey is believed to have been named after Earl Charles Grey, British Prime Minster (1830-34). Reputedly, he received a gift of tea flavoured with bergamot oil. It has since become of the nation’s favourite teas!
