Despite many considering this plant a weed, dandelions have been used in herbal medicine for centuries. The leaves are said have diuretic properties and can be useful for helping to remove excess water from the body. They’re thought to help stimulating the appetite and aid digestion; in particular after large meals! The infusion has a distinct herbal flavour.
