China Yunnan White Silver Needle Beeng Cha

A rare and exceptional aged white tea, pressed into a beautifully compact cake and matured to perfection.

This Silver Needle comes from the Da Hao Cha cultivar, grown at 1,200m in the Jing Gu region of Yunnan, terrain long prized for producing teas of exceptional depth and character. Hand-picked in February 2015 using only the finest silvery-yellow buds (with a few characterful dark flecks), the leaves were gently pressed into a medium-firm cake shortly after harvest.

What followed was eight years of careful aging, transforming this tea from a delicate young white into something altogether richer and more complex. The result is a soft, gently humid character with a light touch – and a cup that pours a clear, elegant light cognac hue. Expect a beautifully layered tasting experience, with fruity nuances that continue to deepen and evolve year on year.

This is a limited, small-batch lot – a genuine rarity for collectors and white tea enthusiasts alike, and a wonderful introduction to how beautifully white tea can age.
