Large leaves are rolled into little pellets which unfold while brewing and provide a yellowish infusion with a rich taste. It’s English name comes from its appearance which looks very similar to gunpowder! Gunpowder tea production dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618–907AD).
Tea Origin: China
Preparation: Use freshly boiled filtered water 80°C.
Allow 1 slightly heaped teaspoon of tea for 300ml cup.
Infuse 2-3 min.
