How to Brew

• Use 1 Triune teabag per cup
• 100°C freshly boiled water
• Steep 3 to 5 minutes
• Enjoy black or ideally with milk

For a teapot, use one teabag per cup plus one extra for the pot.

For a stronger cup, brew for a minute longer. For a lighter cup, simply reduce the steeping time. Feel free to experiment to find the balance that makes your perfect cup.

Assam Tea Origin and Craftsmanship

Assam, in north eastern India, is home to the broad leaf assamica variety of Camellia sinensis. The region’s warm temperatures, high humidity and heavy monsoon rainfall create ideal conditions for producing deep, malty black teas. The Brahmaputra river, fertile floodplains and loamy soils shape the distinctive terroir that defines Assam tea. The British established the first plantations here in the 1830s, and Assam has since become the world’s largest tea producing region, with around 800 tea estates.

While some teas are made using the orthodox method, CTC production dominates the region and creates the strong, brisk teas often used in breakfast blends and traditional masala chai. Every lot selected for this blend is chosen for aroma, structure and consistency, then blended in small batches for dependable flavour and freshness.
